My family that I do in-home cooking for in Elmhurst like to practice healthy eating, but occasionally they like a splurge just for the fun of it. I made lots of healthy food for this week, including Cod Veracruz, Basque Style Chicken Breasts, Paleo Pot Roast, and lots of interesting roasted vegetables. They asked for one decadent dessert, so I made individual flourless molten chocolate cakes.

One of my newest clients that I am working as a personal chef in Bloomingdale for, is undergoing chemotherapy and has a very limited appetite. About the only thing that sounds good to her lately is soup. Soup and potatoes. So this week, I stocked her up with Venetian Chicken Soup, Tortilla Soup, Zuppa Toscana, and White Bean Kale Chicken Chili. I also made twice baked potatoes, potatoes dauphinois, and mashed potatoes. I also roasted some chicken breasts and left some shredded chicken for her to pick on when the mood strikes. Having a personal chef will make her life easier during this difficult time.

I recently got a call from a man looking for a personal chef in Oakbrook. He is a single guy, works a lot, loves good food, and eating out all of the time is taking it’s toll. He is having me cook weekly for him, mostly Keto and Paleo to help with his weight loss and health goals. Pictured is Pan Grilled Skirt Steak with Bacon Chimichurri.

Today I cooked as a personal chef in Naperville for a large family with eclectic tastes! Included in the menu today was:

Peruvian Chicken Breasts with Aji

Pan Grilled Hanger Steaks with Spicy Bourbon Glaze, Skinny Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Buffalo Pork Chops

Crudites with White Bean Tahini Dip

Date Fig Almond Coconut Balls

I also made some after school snacks for the kids! They liked the Chorizo Nachos with Queso and Jalapenos.

My clients that I work as a personal chef in Wheaton for, are on a new clean eating kick! I am making very flavorful, bright dishes to help them reach their weight loss and health goals! Lots and lots of vegetables, lean meats, and healthy carbs make it easy for them to maintain the energy they need to get to the gym every day. They have busy lives and a busy family, and having a personal chef is helping them manage!

I am a personal chef in Elmhurst on a weekly basis for a lovely couple who have decided they want to try the Weight Watchers program after too much holiday indulgence! Their new program will be nice and smooth, now that their refrigerator is stocked full of healthy choices. Included this week on their menu, was Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry, Tuscan Sausage and Bean Soup, Herb Roasted Lamb Chops, Mediterranean Chicken Breasts, Healthy Greek Nachos, Asian Zucchini Noodles, Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Butternut Squash, Strawberry Spinach Salad, Low Carb Lemon Cottage Pancakes, Bacon Egg Zucchini and Cheese Muffins, Chocolate Fudge Cookie Bites, and Chocolate Cakes with Vanilla Cream.
