It always makes my day when I get a nice text from a new client telling me that they loved the food! My new clients in Woodridge seem happy with their meals! The kids ate everything too, I hear! I leave separate containers, keeping in mind that some are picky eaters. (For example, spaghetti and meatballs is in 3 containers. One spaghetti, one sauce, and one meatballs! That way everyone is happy. The ones who only like the noodles, the ones who only like the meatballs, etc!) I aim to please! I always to to make life easier the busy people who hire me as their personal chef! 

One of my Naperville families that I work as a personal chef for, love lots of meats and vegetables. The kids like rice and potatoes, the parents are more carb-conscious. On this week’s menu was:

Burmese Braised Chicken in Coconut Milk and Vegetables
Short Grain Brown Rice

Herb Roasted Pork Tenderloin
Parmesan Parsnip Fries
Crisped Kale

Pan Grilled Mediterranean Lamb Chops
Ghee Roasted Spiced Root Vegetables

My very busy family that I have worked as a personal chef in Elmhurst for for 10 years, had guests arriving, so I made extra large dishes of everything so they could feed the whole brood! On the menu was Barramundi with Citrus Bagna Cauda (I adapted that recipe from a Giada DeLaurentiis recipe from years ago. She used tilapia, but I like Whole Foods Barramundi instead.) Skinny Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Thai Red Curry Beef with Green Beans (I adapted that from the Whole30 cookbook. I use sliced filet mignon, which makes it so tender and luxurious!) Also on the menu for the kids (one is a vegetarian) is a Mark Bittman recipe for Black Bean Sliders. For dessert I made tons of Raspberry Shortbread Bars. 

One of my clients recently started the Shape ReClaimed diet, under medical supervision. I am cooking healthy well balanced meals, several portions of each, all with lean meat and lots of vegetables! On this week’s menu was Steak Fajitas, Chicken “Parmesan”, and the Shape ReClaimed Linda’s Chili.  I make 8 portions for her, and 8 for her sister! They have lots of great food stocked up in the refrigerator, which is making their new eating plan very easy to stick with!
